Northridge's Jay Gentry wins Crawford County Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Northridge Middle School student Jay Gentry on winning the 2025 Crawford County Spelling Bee! The eighth grader took first place in the competition, which was held on Saturday, January 18 at the Van Buren Fine Arts Center. 

Serenity Keech, a sixth grader from Pleasant View Campus- Mulberry/Pleasant View Bi-County School District was named Runner-Up.

Gentry will represent Crawford County at the Arkansas State Spelling Bee in Little Rock on March 8.
