VBSD recognizes National School Social Work Week; Introduces new Director of Social Services, Lisa Little

In recognition of National School Social Work Week, VBSD is proud to introduce our new Director of Social Services, Lisa Little. Little will use her expertise and experience to help our schools address mental health issues and coordinate student care between schools and families. 

Little is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a specialization in supervision. She has worked in the mental health field since 2003 and has been a licensed therapist since 2009. She has vast experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings and worked in school based mental health for more than 12 years. 

"I have been privileged to serve in a variety of roles in my field, but collaborating with schools to improve the mental health and well being of kids and families is my favorite," said Little. "I am so happy to be a part of the Van Buren School District."
