Parkview holds Shade Tree Dedication Ceremony

Parkview Elementary School held its Shade Tree Dedication Ceremony this morning. During the event, students helped plant six new trees on campus. The trees were made possible by a “Shade Trees On Playgrounds” grant through the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Each grade announced the specially chosen name for its designated tree during Rise & Shine. Thank you to Van Buren Mayor Bob Freeman, City Planner Joe Hurst, Arkansas Forestry Commission Rangers, and all of the other special guests for attending this morning!
